Internet-Guenstiger comes from the same team as strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de — founded by Tim Jungeblut while he was still at school doing his Abitur, and now run together with his co-founder Max.

Tim Jungeblut — Founder

I founded the comparison portals strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de while I was still doing my Abitur. My motivation is to help people cut their running costs without any fuss.

Internet-Guenstiger continues the same idea in an area where the advertised price is especially rarely the one you end up paying.

Max Jungeblut — Co-founder and Head of Sales

As co-founder, I helped build strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de from the very beginning.

Today my focus is on sales and on working with our partners.

Our editorial guideline

A good comparison site does not start with a long list of providers. It starts with the questions that change your eventual choice: usage, technology, contract term, follow-on costs and flexibility.

That is why, for us, context comes before comparison — and the rights the Telekommunikationsgesetz (German Telecommunications Act) already gives you are given equal weight. They cost no provider anything and do not appear in any price comparison.

A portfolio with clear roles

Internet-Guenstiger focuses on internet and mobile. The existing websites strom-guenstiger.de and gas-guenstiger.de remain stand-alone energy services. Further portals for insurance and finance use the same methodology but have their own brands and content.
