Our methodology: needs before commission

We structure decisions by needs, available technology and contract costs, and only then look at market offers. Editorial statements and calculator results are not driven by the size of any possible referral fee.

Four separate levels

Our in-house calculators use openly described inputs and reference values. Availability and specific prices only come from the external market comparison or directly from the provider.

Updates and limits

Editorial pages carry an update date. We rely primarily on public authorities, consumer organisations and robust specialist sources. We cannot anticipate individual availability, credit checks or final contract terms.

Ranking in the Verivox comparison

Verivox, not us, decides which tariffs appear in the embedded comparison and in what order. We have no influence on this and neither pay nor receive anything for a particular position. Verivox explains the main sorting parameters and their weighting in the comparison itself; you can usually change the sorting there yourself. Not all providers on the market are listed with Verivox.

How our content is produced

We also use AI tools for research, structuring and wording. Every page is read and checked by our team before publication, and we back up facts, deadlines and legal provisions with the sources given.
