This is a courtesy translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

Use of the portal is free of charge and does not create a contract with Thinkstars GmbH. A contract is only formed with a provider if you conclude one via the comparison.

Scope and contracting party

These terms of use apply to the use of the website internet-guenstiger.de (hereinafter “the portal”). The portal is operated by Thinkstars GmbH, Altenkirchen 7, 26160 Bad Zwischenahn, registered in the commercial register of the Amtsgericht Oldenburg (Oldenburg Local Court) under HRB 216260, VAT identification number DE338576415, represented by the managing director Ludger Jungeblut.

These notes describe the use of the portal. Merely visiting the website does not create a separate contract with Thinkstars GmbH.

What the portal does — and what it does not

The portal provides editorial content on internet connections and mobile tariffs, as well as calculators that run exclusively in your browser. In addition, at clearly labelled points it embeds a comparison calculator from Verivox GmbH, which is only loaded once you have expressly allowed it.

Our content is editorial guidance, not legal advice, and not a promise of availability or speed at your address. The calculator results are model values based on your own entries; they are neither offers nor commitments.

The comparison is a third-party service

The tariff comparison is provided by Verivox GmbH and embedded as labelled partner content under a partnership agreement. If a contract is concluded via the comparison, it is formed exclusively between you and the respective provider — not with Thinkstars GmbH.

The provider and Verivox GmbH are responsible for the content, completeness and accuracy of the tariffs shown there, as well as for the conclusion of the contract and its terms. Check the provider’s information and contract documents yourself before concluding a contract.

Costs and funding

Use of the portal is free of charge for you. We are funded by Thinkstars GmbH being able to receive a fee when a contract is concluded via a labelled comparison.

Concluding a contract with a provider may give rise to costs payable by you to that provider. Thinkstars GmbH has no influence on the amount of these costs.

Permitted use

The portal is available to you for private, non-commercial use. Automated extraction, systematic reproduction or further exploitation of the content and calculation models is not permitted without our written consent.

The content, design and source code are protected by copyright. You may quote individual paragraphs, provided you cite the source; reprinting entire pages or incorporating them into your own services requires our consent.

Availability

We endeavour to ensure uninterrupted operation but do not guarantee any particular level of availability. Maintenance work, technical faults and outages of embedded services may temporarily restrict use.

Liability

Thinkstars GmbH has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Liability under the Produkthaftungsgesetz (German Product Liability Act) also remains unaffected.

In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of an essential contractual obligation, the fulfilment of which makes the proper use of the portal possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely; in this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

The operators of external sites we link to are responsible for their content. No legal violations were apparent at the time the links were set; continuous monitoring cannot reasonably be expected without concrete indications.

Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Changes and final provisions

We may amend these terms of use, for example if the portal’s features or the legal situation change. The version available at the time of your visit applies.

Should any provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
